Discover the importance of network defence management for an organisation
Network defence management is critical for protecting organisations from cyber attacks. This course aims to offer a foundational understanding of network defence management.
You will have the opportunity to explore the range of threats to a network and the ways to assess them for likelihood and impact. You will also explore ways to determine the level of defence required to manage these threats within tolerances of the organisation and as appropriate for the data/information held.

I am Senior Lecturer in e-Business in the School of Strategy and Leadership and Associated Researcher in the Centre for Business in Society (CBiS) in Coventry University.
Who developed the course?

A very interesting course that allows us to understand how irresponsible we are to our safety. In my opinion, it is necessary for people working as system administrators.

It was a great course on cyber security and attacks. Trainer exhibited great knowledge on issues of security.

As always the lecturer teaches in a nice and clear manner, starting by going through some basics before moving on to some novice/intermediate stuff.

Overall I found the course to be a good experience, although networking has never been my strongest field in terms of computing, most of the networking concepts are explained by the lecturer really well.
